General consensus in the sporting world?
Cards vs Tigers the worst World Series of all time....including the poorest record of any winner in decades.

Spoken like a true fan of loser baseball. The Cardinals may have had the worst record in baseball this season, but that is why the slate is wiped clean in the playoffs - and they capitalized on Tiger errors - I can't help it the Tigers choked any more than I like it that the Cards choked two years ago against the Red Sox. So, deal with it. The Cardinals are Champions and the Cubs suck. This will never change.
