She hasn't had a very good year - cancer lump removed in April, emergency spay in May, infections in June. Unfortunately, it was cancer that finally got her. She died August 5th sometime between 6pm and 9pm.

So, for all of you who had to share a couch with her, either asleep on your head or lounging in your lap...
Or had to share your dinner with her, willingly or not....
Or almost lost fingers reaching for her bones....
Or shared beer with her, or watched her shred the can....
Or were dragged off your feet trying to walk her...
Or had to pet her for hours on end because you were the newest guest in the house....
Or just had a good nose in the crotch welcome from the enormous black dog - raise a glass, smile at a memory, say goodbye.

Thanks friends for loving our dog as much as we did.
